RESUMO

There is always a need of 24 hours monitoring system for the growing number of patients being in home cared due to reasons like aging, diabetes, covid-19, disabilities. The personal vital monitoring of an individual can be considered as a valuable resource for assisting them. The increase in the number of patients has also led to a decrease in the relative number of health workers per patient, which results in ignored or delay in diagnostics. This paper tries to focus on bringing a good patient monitoring system for assisting patients according to their vitals and their regular activities. This monitoring system uses IoT which is connected to a raspberry pi 4 for processing. In this monitoring system data is being collected from various sensors to analyze the heart rate, blood pressure, and body temperature. To monitor patients activities - video input through the camera is used and processing the input is done by using raspberry pi 4. This process helps to analysis the patient health based on both the vitals and the activities, also provides feedback according to the collected data. The system also helps to reduce the ratio of the number of patients to the number of doctors which is reducing unnecessary visit, readmission, cost as well giving signaling live alerts. So the project is to develop a device that monitors a patient's regular activity and vitals and assists the patient without any supervision and to assist them according to their vitals. © 2022 IEEE.

RESUMO

The current pandemic situation has led researchers to rethink the conventional agricultural process. Nowadays, conventional agricultural processes are being replaced with an advanced Internet of Things (IoT)-based technology to reduce mass gathering in fields. Moreover, the advancement of technology is essential to feed the 7 billion people around the world. Thus, researchers developed several IoT devices that come under the Consumer IoT or CIoT devices which help the farmers to monitor farm performance and activities remotely. During the remote monitoring processes, the wireless CIoT devices gained privacy and security threats which became a major concern. Thus, besides gaining a competitive advantage in agriculture, minimising privacy and security threats is also essential in this pandemic. This research is going to understand the recent CIoT devices, their privacy and data protection approaches, challenges and mitigation strategies. The researchers have conducted secondary research using available journal articles and authentic internet sources belonging to the past five years. After that, other journal articles have been accessed as well to draw an effective discussion. Findings showed that privacy, data protection and security are the three major concerns that can be addressed by using an alternative wireless system. Blockchain and “Low-power Wide Area Network” are two other approaches that can be used as well. Other challenges include the cost of CIoT devices that can be addressed by purchasing low-cost sensors and microcontrollers.

RESUMO

One of the vibrant social media platforms is which has more than half a million uses across the globe. It has become a popular means for dissemination of the news, to discuss on world events. It is also medium to converse about health centric information with updates given by the concerned officials and general public health-related information, during an abnormal situation like COVID-19 pandemics. As the dimension of data and the linguistics of data been discussed is diverse in nature, it is a challenging task to identify only the content that is interesting and useful. Few studies have been done exploring the regional languages than other English. In this work, we explored huge number of tweets on post-lock down during Covid-19 pandemic by analyzing the sentiments expressed on the tweets and topic identification. To do the same we have employed English 2,126,421 and 76,265 Tamil tweets for analyzing and discussing the usefulness of sentiment analysis and topic modeling in both of the languages. Seven subjects were that are ranked on the analysis of content discussed from India, in Twitter during the four months from May 2020 and August 2020. Tamil tweets are investigated to understand the sentiments of people during anamount of time and the association to the media information published, and the assessment of the psychological behavior of human in India. It is always significant to understand the human opinions, information communication and building an agreement including social media in different regions of the nation. © 2021 IEEE.

RESUMO

To prevent the public from pandemic Covid'19 the government of India has started the vaccination from mid of January 2021. The government has approved the two vaccines, Covishield from the university of Oxford and Covaxin from Bharat Biotech. The vaccination started with frontline workers and is further extended to common public prioritizing the elders of above 60 years and people aged 45 years above with co morbidities. Though many people have got benefitted from it there is still a group of people not convinced with the vaccination. We have carried out this work to analyze those Indian people sentiments on the vaccines through the hash tags of tweets. The results show that though majority of the community has a positive belief on the vaccines but some of them still express negative emotions. © 2021 The authors and IOS Press.
